Cuéntanos de tu amistad con Luisa González de Urquiza

Luisa González de Urquiza, Luisa es una cocinera de mi generación, una personas muy querida para mi, una amiga profunda, alguien que esta relacionada con el comienzo de mi carrera y con el comienzo de nuestra carrera, empezamos juntos, digamos los cocineros de nuestra generación no somos muchos, y Luisa es una de ellas. Trabajamos juntos hace muchísimos años, tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir una cocina historia para mi que fue Luisa Gonzalez de Urquiza, Mariana Muller la china, Pablo Massey y yo, los 4 en frente de una cocina en Las Leñas, trabajando todos para Mallmann, que fue algo espectacular, estuvimos juntos haciendo temporadas en Punta del Este al mismo tiempo, en fin, alguien que está muy conectada con mis comienzos en la cocina, después Luisa se casó con

Luisa muchos años después de casó con Miguel Brascó, alguien que para mí también fue muy importante en mi carrera y en mi vida. La primera nota que yo tuve como cocinero en un medio gráfico, en una revista me la hizo Miguel Brascó, así que me unió muchos años de amistad a Miguel y cuando Luisa se casó con Miguel fue un momento muy emocionante y muy feliz. De alguna manera lo últimos años tuvimos como un reencuentro con Luisa, no es que había pasado nada, pero viste la vida por ahi se había ido a vivir a Córdoba entonces por ahi no nos veíamos mucho y los últimos años nos reencontramos y nos volvimos a ver y nos dimos cuenta que esa amistad y ese cariño que tuvimos y que nos tuvimos en los comienzos seguía intacto y fue muy lindo volver a vernos. Es alguien a quien yo considero una amiga, una persona muy querida, cercana, Milagros que es la hija de Luisa y Miguel Brascó trabaja conmigo en el verano en nuestro restaurante en Santa Teresita, vuelve a trabajar este verano, o sea que de alguna manera el circulo está como cerrado y hay como una situación de amistad, familiar, mi hijo Pedro que cumple años el mismo día que Milagros, son muy amigos, trabajamos juntos y trabajan juntos conmigo en el verano, es decir que de alguna manera esa relación que empezó hace muchos años profesionalmente, se convirtió en algo que fue creciendo, es mucho mas grande y hoy ya es casi un lazo familiar el que tenemos.

Luisa González de Urquiza, Luisa is a chef from my generation, a person really dear to me, a deep friend, someone who’s related to my career since the beginning and with the beginning of our career, we started together, let’s say we’re not a lot of chefs from our generation, and Luisa is one of them. We worked together many years ago, we had the opportunity of sharing a historical kitchen with Luisa González de Urquiza, Mariana Muller la china, Pablo Massey and me, the 4 of us in front of a kitchen in Las Leñas for Mallmann, which was spectacular, we were together making seasons in Punta del Este at the same time and finally, someone who’s really connected with my start as a chef, then Luis married….
Many years after, Luisa married Miguel Brascó, who was also very important in my career and in my life. The first note I had as a chef in a graphic media, in a magazine, was written by Miguel Brascó, so many years of friendship tied my to Miguel and when Luisa married Miguel was a really exciting moment, very happy. In some way for the last years we had like a reunion with Luisa, nothing happened, but you know life, she moved to Córdoba so we didn’t see each other a lot and in the past years we reunite and see each other again and we found out that friendship and affection we had for each other and the one we had at the beginning was still there and it was intact and it was really nice seeing each other again. She’s someone I consider a friend, a really loved person, close, Milagros who’s Miguel and Luisa’s daughter works with me at our restaurant Santa Teresita in the summer, she’s coming back to work this summer, I mean in someway the circle is closed and there’s a friendship and family situation. Pedro, my son, shares the same birthday with Milagros, they’re really close, we work together and they work together with me in the restaurant in the summer, I mean that relation that started many years ago professionally, turned into something that grew, is much bigger and nos is like a family bond what we have.
